Join SENDER partners at the BRIDGE Initiative General Assembly meeting 2024!

Last week was the kick off of the BRIDGE initiative General Assembly 2024 which gathers 350 experts from 90+ EU-funded projects about smart grid & digitalisation of energy, in Brussels and online, to which SENDER partners participated.

On the agenda of day 1 were scheduled the review of policy updates and the plenary session during which the achievements of the 4 Work Groups were presented, notably by Olivier Genest, Director at Trialog (SENDER project partner). Then, a showcase of 6 BRIDGE completed projects was presented to draw conclusions from their experience.

The four Working Groups workshops, to which SENDER partners actively participated, were planned on April 10th. Christian Kunze and Joseph Negreira, researchers at Smart Innovation Norway and coordinator of the SENDER project, participated to the Business Models workshop, Wilhelm Süßenbacher represented the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in the Regulatory Work Group and the Data Management workshop was attended by Giorgos Pitsiladis from Hypertech.

BRIDGE is a European Commission initiative which unites Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe Smart Grid, Energy Storage, Islands, and Digitalisation Projects to create a structured view of cross-cutting issues which are encountered in the demonstration projects and may constitute an obstacle to innovation. The BRIDGE process fosters continuous knowledge sharing amongst projects thus allowing them to deliver conclusions and recommendations about the future exploitation of the project results, with a single voice, through four different Working Groups representing the main areas of interest:
