SENDER 8th Consortium Meeting in Tampere, Finland !

SENDER partners gathered two weeks ago for the 8th consortium meeting in Tampere, Finland generously hosted by VTT team. This was the occasion to exchange on several topics such as the ongoing piloting phase, users’ engagment and the after project.

A few kilometers away from the meeting place were located one of the demonstration sites of the project. We thus had the opportunity to visit two households hosting SENDER solutions. Both have the SENDER box (Raspberry Pi) and an energy meter for total energy consumption and when the first one had also an energy meter for PV production metering, the second one included an energy meter for underfloor heating, a thermostat controlling underfloor heating and a multisensor for sensing temperature, humidity, light and presence, all this equipment for the living room.

After months of recruitment, audit and installation, the project reached the phase of data collection and analysis.

The next important event for the SENDER project (and for you to follow !) will be the attendance to the joint final event with the sister projects HESTIA and ACCEPT that will take place in Luxembourg in September.
