SENDER continues its collaboration with sister projects HESTIA, ACCEPT, IFLEX and REDREAM on energy community engagement.

During the second project period (April 2022-September 2023), the sister projects met again at a dedicated BRIDGE workshop as part of Sustainable Places in Nice, France, in August 2022, as well as at a session with presentations and a roundtable in Madrid, Spain, in July 2023. Since the publication of the Sustainable Places document in 2021, another document from the 2022 workshop was published last year on Open Research Europa and is currently being revised.

Cooperation with H2020 E-LAND project

SENDER continued its cooperation with the H2020 E-LAND project in terms of the development of business models and to further develop and align the E-LAND business model toolbox to the SENDER context.

ENLIT Europe – 2022 and 2023 editions

SENDER was represented with a dedicated stand at the EU projects exhibition zone in Frankfurt during ENLIT Europe 2022 (29.11. – 01.12.2022) where 35 EU-funded projects shared their contribution to the energy sector transformation.

This participation lead to numerous discussions with other EU project representatives and the evaluation of potential future cooperations.  

SMARTER-E Europe 2023

In addition, SENDER was an exhibitor at the joint EU project zone, organized by ETIP SNET and BRIDGE, during the SMARTER-E trade fare from the 14th – 16th of June 2023. Also in this context, various discussions and knowledge exchanges with other BRIDGE projects became conducted and potential candidates for future joint project applications became identified.
