The SENDER project aims to place the electricity consumer at the heart of the electricity market. To this end, and under the leadership of NTNU, the project has developed a unique consumer-centric co-creation approach. Co-creation is a product or service design process in which input from consumers or other stakeholders plays a central role.
The co-creation of innovative technological solutions in cooperation with consumers is a topic of growing awareness, as it is seen as a central success factor for research and innovation projects. That’s why the project coordinator, Smart Innovation Norway, is using the results of our working group on implementing the co-creation process, to which he actively contributed, to define general, project-independent measures for implementing co-creation activities. SENDER representatives are grateful for the opportunity to present their initial findings at two forthcoming events:
- “Consumer Empowerment for Demand Response Programs” presentation by SIN as part of the International Smart Grid Action Network (ISGAN) Webinar: “Aggregator in digitalised power systems,” March 11th, 2024.
- “Citizen engagement and co-creation in a net-zero built environment transition: challenges, best practices from EU-funded projects and future directions” presentation and publication by SIN as part of the academic conference: Net-Zero Future 2024, 1st International Conference on Net-Zero Built Environment: Innovations in Materials, Structures, and Management Practices | June 19-21, 2024 | Oslo, Norway
