As our project enters its final phase, work and attention are focused on the pilot homes. With installation and commissioning complete in most homes, the monitoring and demonstration phase can now begin, so that the project objectives can be tested in a real environment and prosumers can monitor their consumption habits.

The second half of the project began by recruiting pilot households and gathering detailed information on the electrical systems/components already in place in the households, such as photovoltaic systems or electric heating/cooling devices.

Gathering this information sometimes proved difficult and time-consuming, as some prosumers themselves lacked knowledge and interest in the systems and solutions they had installed. Nevertheless, this activity has proved useful in helping to achieve one of our objectives, namely to raise public awareness of energy efficiency, energy consumption and the energy transition.

The next step was to analyze the detailed household information gathered by our partners HPT, who in turn provided us with an equipment deployment plan for each participating household.

Using this plan, the installer/commissioner was able to carry out site visits and install the equipment required for the SENDER solution. The final step was to request/transmit the identification details for access to the prosumer application, and to briefly explain the application.

Now that prosumer measurement has been established, and the initial problems observed and resolved, the final phase of the project will focus on demonstrating the SENDER solutions developed.
